about

A Field
South Yorkshire, UK

A song about being a traveling DIY musician, A troubadour if you will. In the old days the word bard - now used to refer to some genius of writing - was originally used by the Scots as a derogatory term for a traveling minstrel/troubadour. It seemed fitting, as lots of people seem to struggle to understand what I do as if i am some glorified beggar. In contrast to the broken buildings I decided to go outside into the country. I was soon joined by a pack of horses, one of which joined in. Also accompanying me are all the birds and buzzing things of an English spring. You may consider this song a thank you, yes, you, listener of my music - THANK YOU! ‘Your gracious acceptance, is giving me life’.
